I have bought Bones Super Swiss Six, and probably 6 sets of Reds for my collection of waterski longboards, and the Super Swiss are best bearings out there. I'd put them against Ceramics pretty soon, but nobody wants to race the SS6. As for the REDS, I took them down a mountain, a 17 mile descent, non-stop. For a $13 set of bearings, they flat haul. Over that journey, they nearly seized, and I am pretty sure that any other bearing would have locked up at mile 12. Bones made it to mile 19 without problems, and after letting them cool, the Reds are now as fast as my Super Swiss 6, a real proof of quality bearings. Bones Bearings are music to the road.

I had my Bones Bearings for about 3-4 weeks now and one of them broke! The balls came out and my wheel came off. I haven't really skated them very hard besides the times I skated when it was wet outside which was only like 3-4 times but I re-lubricated them well. I heard they are supposed to be really good bearings but they let me down.

I bought Bones Swiss Bearings after years of dealing with cheap, Shorty's bearings and I am now the happy owner of these speed demons! With regular cleanings and proper lubing, these bearings are far beyond expectations. They are a bit of a challenge to clean at first, but are worth the investment for those who skate fast. An obvious purchase for a veteran and a great choice for a beginner.
